August 21                         Voter Registration at Valley View Mall Sears m 9 am to 5 pm.  Voter registrations must be non-partisan, so no club material or party affiliation signs (including T-Shirts) can be worn or displayed.  We need at least one deputy registrar at each shift, along with others to approach those coming into and out of  the store. Valley View has a high Hispanic clientele so bilingual speakers are critical to this effort, and need not be a registrar to help.

August 27                    NDTDW Regular Meeting:  Human Trafficking in North Texas.  The Executive Director of Ft. Worth based "Traffick911", Deena Graves, and Bill Bernstein, Deputy Director of Mosaic Family Services    (and 2004 Democratic candidate for US House of Representatives) will address the increase in human trafficking and what we can do to stop this scourge on our communities.
